1. Kenya - Pray for the distribution among the Karamojong, Ik and Thur language groups. They are located in Uganda in an area which has experienced tribal fighting. Pray for Walter and James, as they share with pastors the GRN Look, Listen & Live materials recorded in their language.
2. Canada - Pray for the GRN Canada Board, as they meet to address the needs of the ministry.
3. Encouragement from Old Recordings - There remain just a few hundred old recordings that have yet to be digitized from analogue media. It is a very delicate and time-consuming process, but well worth it, as this user from Nigeria recently told us: "This is great! I had this on a gramophone in 1970. It drew me to the gospel. I need it for further evangelism amongst my people."
4. Canada - Ruth and Kevin Horan are thankful for the good visits they had with supporters while in California last month. They were also able to meet with GRN leadership and staff members.
5. Nigeria Language - News from recordings made in the Eten language last December: "Over 170 people received the recordings, while numerous people listened.... The locals were glad and appreciated the effort made to have the audio Word of God clear and fluent in their heart language.... Within a few days of the distribution exercise, six people prayed to receive Christ."
6. Canada - The search for a new Canadian director continues. David Elliott is continuing to serve in the office to make sure the administrative needs of the mission are taken care of. Pray that God will direct the person of his choosing to take on the task of leading the mission.
7. Thailand - The Thai team praise God for being able to distribute the Moken New Testament which they recently recorded, and for the opportunity to record in the Nyeu language. Pray for these people groups to receive and hear God's Word in their own language.
8. Distribution -Pray for the GRN center in Belgium which is providing humanitarian and spiritual aid to partners in Ukraine. Pray that hundreds of Tumi Tigers sent to Ukraine will encourage traumatized children as the 'toys' tell them of Christ's love.
9. USA outreaches - Pray for Mike H and those he takes with him on distribution trips, usually into Mexico. Pray for safety in their many miles of travel, and for God's direction as they seek to share God's words through GRN messages on these trips.
10. Evangelism - The Buenas Nuevas team in Mexico reaches out to people from remote villages while they are in migrant agriculture camps. Pray that those who have returned to their villages will listen to the recordings they have received in their own dialects and will turn to their loving Saviour.
11. Evangelism - The Pakistani team writes: "For the next six months, we are focusing on the Punjabi language group. This will involve language and cultural studies, along with ministry activities to deepen our connection with the community. Please pray for wisdom and success in this outreach."
12. Asian Recordist - GRN USA had the privilege of providing a recording kit to a new recordist in Southern Asia. Pray for A as he learns more about his craft at the Thailand recording team training and starts making more recordings of his country's many languages.
13. Evangelism - The Dutch center has just produced recordings in sign language and are thanking the Lord for donations that made this possible. Pray these DVDs will be widely used to tell the Dutch deaf community of their Saviour.
14. Sunday School Lessons App - We give thanks for the significant increase in the number of users of our Sunday School Lessons app. Pray that more people will download the app and find it useful.
15. African Language - Give thanks for Yousif and Vivian. Yousif is editing recordings in the Shilluk language and trauma material called "4 Friends" in Arabic. Yousif has spent time in Ugandan refugee camps where many have fled from Sudan, a nation sadly destroyed by fighting.
16. Bangladesh - Our brothers in Bangladesh are living through a challenging period where the safety of minority groups, including Christians, is in danger. Ask our Lord to protect and guide them, give them courage and love for their neighbours and enemies. May the gospel go out in Bangladesh in the many languages spoken there and may God's kingdom grow.
17. Distribution - We thank God for the Kulumi MP3 players and talking toy lambs in some Berber dialects delivered to the remote mountain communities of Morocco. Pray that all the people in Morocco will hear the Gospel and receive Christ as their Savior.
18. Myanmar - Pray for David* and Stephen* and their families in Myanmar who are under great stress due to ongoing problems in the nation. Ask our Lord to encourage and bless them and their work. Pray for God's Word and GRN recordings to be used to bring many to faith. (*names changed)
19. Evangelism - We are grateful to God for the successful recording of the Gospel in the Chamari language. There are still no Bibles or resources other than ours, in the Chamari language for these people of India.
20. Distribution - Pray for the work of John and the Togo team as they distribute recordings in the north of their country where the majority are Muslim. Pray for spiritual strength and wisdom as they battle against witchcraft and spiritual and physical enslavement among people there.
21. International Leadership Team (ILT) - The ILT will be meeting in the US later this month to go over the progress being made by the mission. Pray that it will be a great opportunity to review what God has done. Pray for the team as they continue to look to the future as to how the mission can accomplish its goals to reach out to the least reached.
22. Nepal - Pray for the team in Nepal. They have already recorded 95 languages and dialects in their country but are now hoping to provide additional material for teaching new Christians. Pray that their visits to villages will be a blessing to the people they meet and to the team members, and that newly-established churches will flourish.
23. Language Group - The Malayalam recording project will now continue as the local team hire studio space in Kerala, India, with advice and support from GRN Australia. They aim to record the Look, Listen & Live series in Malayalam and a minority language. Pray these Christians in Kerala may faithfully pursue this goal.
24. Unrecorded Languages - With hundreds of languages and dialects still unrecorded, ask God to empower GRN to accelerate recording the remaining unrecorded languages and language varieties without sacrificing quality.
25. 5fish - This app has recently been updated and improved. There are resources for over 6600 language varieties for 228 countries available for listening or downloading. Pray for this method of sharing to explode in use across the world.
26. Canada - Praise God for like minded missions that use GRN materials in their ministries. In most cases we are not aware of the impact that GRN materials have in furthering the spread of the Gospel. Pray that God will bring many to saving faith through GRN recordings.
27. Philippines - Pray for MaryAnn as she settles into her role as the Philippines center's leader, for Jurine as he retires, and for Hannah as she works under the new leadership. Pray for new staff to join the team and for Aussie, David S as he edits the recent Cebuano recordings.
28. GRN Leadership - Various GRN centers and bases are looking for new leadership, either immediately or in the very near future. Please pray for South Korea, Canada, Germany, and Switzerland as they search for the right person for their respective roles.
29. GRN MapApp - This amazing resource is freely available to anyone. MapApp shows locations for 14,000 clusters of language varieties worldwide. Users can discover those with Christian media available, as well as those that have nothing. Also, they can find at a glance thousands of UN refugee camps housing people from countries.
30. Canada - As we come to the end of another month, pray that all of the financial needs of the mission will be met. Pray that we will be able to increase funding towards recording and distribution projects.
