Prayer Guide for GRN Thailand June 2025

1) (Sun) Please continue to pray for the two Christian paraplegics mentioned previously and also for a third one. Pray for wisdom and good health for Oat as he teaches English to the 1-3 graders at the school in his village and for him to be a shining light to them. Pray for healing, strength and encouragement for Nari who is still unwell at home with a deep bedsore, fever and tendency to sepsis, and for grace for those who care for her which has become more difficult. Pray for Nueng (29 year old Hmong man) to enjoy close fellowship with Christ and for a God to provide a good job for him.

2) (Mon) Pray for safety in travel as Jon and Clair begin their flight to the USA today.

3) (Tue) Please pray for wisdom and direction for GRNT as they prepare questionnaires to use in researching the Nyaw language.

4) (Wed) Please continue to pray for complete healing for Lot and Anabel both of whom have problems in one ear and for Kerry who recently experienced severe pain in his back and hip.

5) (Thur) Lawa in Pae Village: Praise God that little Esther is developing well and can do many things. Please pray for the following: 1) Esther to continue to develop well, 2) Good health for Dough, his mother and Chat, and for strength for them in their work, 3) Wisdom for the doctor, and no ear problems for Dough's mother as she has an appointment today to check her ear and make plans for surgery, 4) Good health for See and the baby in her womb, and 5) Good health and close walk with Christ for all the church members.

6) (Fri) From Lot's family: Please pray for the following: 1) God's help for Rappon to care for the chronic skin infection on her feet by applying ointment regularly, and for direction to find part time work or good activities to do during free time, 2) The provision of a good and suitable new pharmacy job for Maethee, 3) Strength, good health and safety in travel for everyone in Lot's family, and 4) Hope, peace and acceptance of his situation for Lot's father as he is blind in his left eye, and has had a little sight in his right eye but now is going blind in that eye too.

7) (Sat) Phu Thai Nakae and other groups in Nakhon Phanom Province: Please pray for God's help and blessing with the following: 1) A seminar in Amnat Charoen Province (Theme: Share your blessings), 2) The managing of a fund to help people in three provinces learn new skills so they can earn more, 3) Churches in the province to serve the Lord together well, 4) Develop-ment of the church buildings and property, and 5) Development of youth leadership potential.

8) (Sun) From Dan and Na Tisdale in the USA: We need God's wisdom for Tytus's 7th grade schooling in Chiangmai. The doors we expected to be open have closed, and others are not within our financial means at the moment.

9 (Mon) Pray for Jon and Clair as they meet today with prayer partners in Waynesville NC, in the USA that the sharing will update well those who pray for and support them and GRNT.

10) (Tue) Thai Song Dam (from Suphanburi Province) and other groups: Praise God for the beautiful God honoring wedding of Ploy and her fiancé Kan on 10 May. Please pray for the following: 1) God to bless and strengthen Ploy and Kan as they begin married life and serve God in Bangkok, 2) Good health for the elderly church members in Suphanburi, 3) Wisdom and good health for Pastor Chalao, 4) Building a church parking garage and renovating the previous house of Chalao's mother, 5) Strength and direction for Phet in finding work, and 6) Nam Nueng to receive her USA visa which she has applied for online.

11) (Wed) Please pray for Jaew to have wisdom, strength and good health as she prepares documents for the renewal of 1 visa and two work permits for volunteers of GRNT, and as she does the accounts and prepares paperwork, along with photos, for submission of report to government offices.

12) (Thur) From Joshua and Gloria: Please pray for the following: 1) For an audio program to be prepared for the Karen Sgaw to hear the Bible each morning through the village announcement systems, 2) Opportunities for Joshua to share the Gospel with people in the local community through teaching the Korean language, 3) God's help to finish some building issues at Esther Center and to be prepared for a team from Korea who will come to stay for a week in July, and 3) Wisdom for Paul to take care of his family, minister to people, and teach English.

13) (Fri) From Boi's family: Praise God for His grace and love in guiding the construction of their new house which is about 80% finished. They hope to be able to move in soon. Please pray for the following: 1) Their house to be a house of blessing as they intend, and for sufficient finances to complete the construction, 2) Wisdom for Boi and Aom as they serve God and for abundant fruit from their labors, 3) Boi's daughters to be diligent in their studies, to be protected from all danger and sickness and for them to be good examples to their friends, and 4) Good health and strong immune systems for the family.

14) (Sat) Vietnamese Thai prayer requests: Praise the Lord that Beh and her team finished the discipleship course.  Please pray for the following:  1) Wisdom, good health and safety in travel for Pastor Narong and Ajaan Tin's daughter and her family as they reach out to people via teaching music,  2) The new believers to truly understand God's grace and be faithful to attend church, 3) Beh and her team, Jiw, Pastor Narong and Ajaan Tin to have wisdom to follow up the members at three different locations,  and 4) Relatives of Christian workers, who are not yet believers, to believe in the Lord Jesus as their Savior soon.

15) (Sun) Pray for Jon and Clair as they meet today with the church in Greenville SC, in USA where Jon and Clair were married. Pray that their sharing will encourage the church to continue in prayer and support for them and for GRNT.

16) (Mon) Ugong: Praise the Lord for safe travel and good results from the children's camp and visiting adults just over a month ago.  Please pray for the following:  1) Wisdom and good health for Pastor Chalao and her team to continue to follow them up,  2) Maat and Jum's families to know the Lord more through listening to the Ugong and Thai recordings on the MP3 players,  3) The Holy Spirit to continue to help the children and teenagers to understand who they are in Christ and to fear the Lord, 4) Tida's brother in law, Sawat, to not forget the Lord Jesus and to learn to trust him in spite of his kidney failure; he has to cleanse his kidneys every 2 hours, 5) Good health for all the people,  and 6) That there will not be too much rain for the fields and that the price of yucca will increase. 

17) (Tue) Nyaw: Thank God that GRNT staff were able to learn more about language research during training in late May. Please pray for the team as they go to Nakhon Phanom and Sakon Nakon provinces 17-21 this month to visit their Nyaw ministry partners and to further research the Nyaw people in other areas where they have never gone. Pray for God to lead them to new partners who can give them more info about this people group.

18) (Wed) Yoy and other groups: Please pray for the following: 1) Fon to have finances to pay her next vehicle installment, 2) God to provide everything that Song Phan and her husband need and for them to trust God with all their hearts, 3) Wisdom and strength for Da and her family as they serve God, and 4) God's help to borrow money to buy Song Phan's house for a place to worship.

19) (Thur) So Thavung Group: Please pray for the following:  1) Jen to trust in the Lord Jesus alone so she can receive healing from her family problems, wisdom for her as she teaches and wisdom for relating to new people at school during her internship,  2) The Lord to draw Grandma Khinh, her siblings and children, the elderly in the village, as well as those who helped GRNT during translation and recording to Himself,  and  3) Good health for all the people and wisdom for the parents to help their children not to become overweight.

20) (Fri) Phu Thai Renu and other groups: Please pray for the following: 1) Good health for all of the church members, 2) Encouragement and God's blessing for church members as they work at their jobs, 3) The provision of a full time worker for the church, and 4) Strength and encouragement for Pastor Bum as she serves the Lord.

21) (Sat) Nyeu: Please pray for GRNT as they go to Sasaket Province 22-24 June to visit and distribute MP3 players with the new Good News (Pictures 1-22) recording in various villages. Pray for God to prepare the Nyeu to receive the players eagerly and for God to open their hearts as they listen to the recordings.

22) (Sun) Pray for Jon and Clair as they meet today with the missions committee of a church in Lexington NC, in USA that Clair's parents introduced them to. They pray for and support them and GRNT. Pray for a good time of sharing and answering questions.

23) (Mon) The recording team of ministry partners (not GRN staff) in a nearby country: Praise God that 1) Nue has God's peace and her cancer spot is smaller,  2) All the leaders returned home safely from meetings and that the meetings went well.  Please pray for the following:  1) Wisdom, good health and safe travel for the team to research the culture and choose appropriate Bible stories for the X language, 2) Wisdom, unity and strength for the leadership team to follow up the SD language group, the trainees, the Gospel Listening Groups and the Children's ministry, 3) The salvation of those who heard the Gospel recently including the workers' relatives, 4) God to provide every need for the team and their loved ones, and 5) A worker in a partner organization to be able to sell her house and her uncle's house. 

24) (Tue) Thai Song Dam Group in Kanchanaburi Province: Please pray for the following: 1) Evangelism in the community, 2) The Thai Song Dam people to truly receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior, 3) The children and youth to have victory over their flesh and live clearly for Christ, and 4) Good health for Pastor Song, the children and youth.

25) (Wed) Nyah Kur and Isaan Groups: Praise the Lord that:  1) Santi showed spiritual growth and his love for God's servant by praying aloud for the first time the Lord's prayer and then for God's servant by name, 2) B and G are in good health and B's blood will not need to be tested again until August.  Please pray for the following:  1) Lem, her husband and her siblings to be healthy so they can go to church,  2) The believers to return to church, and wisdom for the leaders to shepherd them,  3) God to draw Thep back to Himself in a mighty way,  4) Unity in the Spirit between all His servants, safety in travel, and for the Lord to provide every need for them and their families.

26) (Thur) Isaan and other Groups: Please pray for the following: 1) Good health for Pastor Prasit's family, sufficient finances for their needs (Their selling of sweets lacks customers due to road construction in the area) and God's blessing in moving and serving the Lord in Phu-khiew District, Chaiyaphum Province, 2) The process of resigning from an organization and handing over of members to the mother church for care, 3) Wisdom and good health for Pastor Supote and his family as they serve the Lord, and 4) June and her family as they evangelize in the Nong Bua Lamphu Church area and as they sell sweets.

27) (Fri) Thank God that a ministry partner who loves the Urak Lawoi people group recently bought MP3 players to distribute to them. Please pray for God to bless the Urak Lawoi as they listen to the recordings.

28) (Sat) Phu Thai and other groups in Sakon Nakhon and Mukdahan Provinces: Please pray for the following: 1) The beginning of a cell group to disciple and plant a church in 2 villages, 2) The team of workers as they study God's Word every Wednesday, 3) The provision of 25,000 baht to expand the church building, 4) The evangelistic "One Leads Two" ministry, 5) Wisdom to follow up the new believers, and 6) Encouragement, wisdom and sufficient finances for Pastor Wichai and his family, and Pastor Meesak and his family as they serve God, and for safety in travel as they follow up new believers.

29) (Sun) From the GRNT IT Team: Please pray for wisdom to research and choose the best equipment and way to store GRNT information that is gathered.

30) (Mon) Today through this Thursday noon, GRNT staff will be helping a team from the USA with an English camp for the 1st-6th grades at a government school near Jaew's church. Bible stories are used in the teaching every day as well as culture exposure and conversation. Please pray for good health for everyone, for open, hungry hearts for the students and a good time of learning, loving and sharing Christ with the students and teachers.
